We held a small grading in Fleetwood for a number of students from white belt to red belt who were attempting their next grades.
All of the students did extremely well in what was an intense grading. The white belt students were brilliant and if there were any first time grading nerves they certainly didn't show!
Some really good kata's set the tone for the whole grading and we have students showing great potential for the future.
A big well done to our three new 7th Kyu green belts Rebecca Catlow and Clare and Jerome Anthony. All three are very talented students and have lovely karate with some brilliant stances.
A special mention must go to Harvey Atkinson who was the only student on this occasion grading to 5th Kyu blue belt and therefore had to do a number of kata's on his own. No easy feat! Harvey coped brilliantly throughout his grading and was impressive in both the kata and kumite sections. His dedication to his training is paying off and his karate is coming along beautifully. Well done Harvey and keep up the great work!
