On the 5th June some of our tournament squad members entered the Northern Open Championships competition in Warrington and had another highly successful day! We yet again came away with an array of medals in what was a competition of very high standards.
The points system was used as an alternative to the flag system and a couple of squad members marinally lost out of semi - finals with a margin as slight as 0.1 points!!
The medal winners were as follows:
Taigen Swinburn - 1 bronze medal
Lauren Welsh - 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal
Kieran Lydon - 1 gold medal, 2 bronze medals
Brandon Crowther - 1 gold medal, 2 bronze medals
Nathan Crowther - 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal.
Fantastic team effort by all! Congratulations to all those members who competed - the squad team continues to go from strength to strength!
